Open S2 will enforce a principle of non-discriminatory data access so that all users will be treated equally. For data products supplied from an international partner or another agency, Open S2 will restrict access only to the extent required by the appropriate Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
For maximum security and global coverage with over 100+ edge cached regions, the Open S2 infrastructure is managed by Cloudfront.
Below describes the data used by Open S2. Each layer uses various sources as describled below. Some data is proprietary and is not encluded in this list.
Contains datasets made by ESA and the consortium as a part of ESA Climate Change Initiative and in particular its Land Cover project as the source of the CCI-LC database.
